Event Participation​

 

Local Business Exchange events are designed to provide networking and business connection opportunities in a professional and supportive environment.

All attendees are expected to behave respectfully and professionally at all times.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive or unsafe.

Featured Business Bookings​

 

Featured Business spaces are limited and allocated on a first-paid basis unless otherwise stated.

Featured Businesses are responsible for:

​

• Providing their own signage and promotional material

• Ensuring displays are safe and professional

• Complying with venue rules and organiser instructions

• Holding any necessary licences or insurance relevant to their business activities

 

Local Business Exchange reserves the right to refuse businesses that do not align with the values or standards of the event.

Business Visitor Tickets​

 

Business Visitor tickets are valid only for the nominated event and are subject to availability.

​

Attendees may be required to present confirmation of registration upon entry.

​

​

Payments​

 

All pricing is listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.

Payment must be received in full to confirm bookings.

​

Refunds & Cancellations

​

Please refer to our Refund Policy for details regarding cancellations and refunds.

Event Changes

 

Local Business Exchange reserves the right to:

• Modify event formats or inclusions

• Cancel events where necessary

While our events are designed to encourage networking and business opportunities, Local Business Exchange does not guarantee:

• Business leads

• Referrals

• Sales

• Contracts

• Specific attendance numbers

• Commercial outcomes

Business success depends on attendee participation, engagement and follow-up.

Photography & Marketing

 

By attending an event, attendees consent to photography and video recording that may be used for:

• Social media

• Marketing materials

• Website content

• Promotional purposes

If you do not wish to appear in event photography, please notify organisers prior to the event.

Liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Local Business Exchange is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, theft or business interruption arising from attendance at an event or use of our website.

• Attendees participate at their own risk.

• Featured Businesses are responsible for their own equipment, products and personal property.

 

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law that cannot legally be excluded.
